

Mini Golf Exploration Assistant
FORE! Experience the excitement of Exploration Place Mini Golf, an 18-hole maze that uses creativity, physics, and just the right amount of force to score a hole-in-one. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day (sometimes earlier or later, weather permitting), mini golf provides entertainment for both the young and old, but always the young at heart!
Skills and Abilities: Must be able to lift 15-25 pounds for restocking supplies. Volunteers will work outdoors in a sheltered location distributing clubs, golf balls, scorecards and pencils to guests. Volunteers will be expected to maneuver through the golf course at certain times during shifts, making sure the course is clear of any debris. During downtime, Volunteers may be asked to participate in letter stuffing or other tasks that can be done at the mini golf location. An open, friendly, and engaging attitude is a must!
Training: Volunteer training sessions are held every 1-2 months. Volunteers have the option of attending training sessions from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on training dates.
Minimum Commitment: Assistance is preferred for the following shifts: Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Assistance will be needed for all shifts during the hours the museum is open to the public. Volunteers must commit to at least four hours per week. If you are only able to assist for one day every one to two weeks, please commit to four hours on that day.
