Exhibits Fabrication
Be a part of the team that works behind the scenes creating exciting exhibit displays and mini-activities that enhance the customer experience each time they visit our museum! Using pre-approved designs and your own creativity, individuals or groups create exhibit add-ons, special displays, panoramas and other designs that make each visit a unique treat. Volunteers for this position have the option of working at Exploration Place or the comfort of their own homes.
Skills and Abilities: Prior carpentry skills are a plus for this position. Other advantages include previous experience in building design, architecture, or other textile industries. This Volunteer position is perfect for retired construction workers!
Training: If you are working at Exploration Place, staff will provide all materials, design schematics and tools. If you chose to work from home, we will provide materials and design schematics. You must use your own tools if you chose to work from home.
Schedule: Open. Jobs are based on availability of designs.
Minimum Commitment: As designs are approved and distributed, each will come with a completion date.
