How much does it cost (per student)?

• General Exhibits: $3.50/person
• Exhibits and CyberDome: $5.50/person
• Exhibits and Education Program: $6.50/person
• Exhibits, CyberDome, and Education Program: $7.00/person

*Traveling exhibit programming price varies between $6.50 and $7, depending on the program.

How long will our visit last?

• Exhibits only: 2 ½ hours
• Exhibits and one activity: 2 ½ – 4 hours depending on activity chosen
• Exhibits and two activities: 3 – 4 ½ hours depending on activities chosen

What shows are in the CyberDome Theater?

How long do the shows last?

One show is about 45 minutes long.

Can we bring our own lunches?

Yes, but you must reserve a lunch space. Weather permitting, you can also choose to eat in Exploration Park’s picnic grove, which includes tree-shaded large wooden benches and tables.

Can we order lunches?

Yes, but they must be ordered in advance. Box lunches are available through the WaterWay Café. Please ask an EP Educator for details in ordering lunches.

How long do we spend in each exhibit pavilion?

Average length of exploring each pavilion is 30 – 45 minutes.

How many adults should we have?

Fourth grade and younger will need to have 1 chaperone for every 5 children.

Fifth grade and older will need to have 1 chaperone for every 10 children.

What time do you open?

A class can begin its visit starting at 9 a.m., Tuesday through Friday.

Can I change my school visit any time?

Final changes must be made at least one week (7 days business days) in advance. If you have scheduled your school visit and need to change your visit in any way, you must call your EP Educator as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to accommodate any change, but because of the many school visits that are scheduled, we cannot guarantee that any other day you choose will be open.
