EP Education Programs

Expanding Education

First Things First

EP is partnering with Parents as Teachers (PAT) to present this school readiness program, and sessions will be held once each week during the school year, led by a certified teacher (some sessions will be at EP). Early literacy, science and math skills are emphasized in the curriculum.

During the session you will:
-Prepare your child for a school atmosphere.
-Explore hands-on learning activities in the classroom.
-Learn school procedures and vocabulary.
-Find resources to support you and your child.

Enroll for the upcoming 2008 - 2009 school year today - space is limited - call the PAT office at 973-5160.

PAT is a free USD 259 program (for those living within the school district’s boundaries) designed to serve parents from pregnancy until their child is 5 years old and ready for kindergarten. *To be eligible for this program, your child must be 3 years old before August 31, 2008.

EP Education Programs
The goal of Exploration Place educational programming is to provide fun and exciting experiences while exploring science. Program selections have been developed to meet Kansas State Science Standards for each grade level. As a result, teachers have the freedom of tailoring visits to best meet their learning goals and objectives.
