Expanding Education

The goal of Exploration Place educational programming is to provide fun and exciting experiences while exploring science. Program selections have been developed to meet Kansas State Science Standards for each grade level. As a result, teachers have the freedom of tailoring visits to best meet their learning goals and objectives. Start exploring the weath of expanded educational experiences EP has to offer in our Educator's Guide for 2007 and 2008.

Check Back Soon - new guide to be posted the first week in August. Call 263-3373x305 to request your copy!

Exploring Outer Space:

With this exciting 95-minute program, middle and high-school students, will enter the largest domed theater in Kansas — the CyberDome — and encounter it’s two astronomy-based shows: Black Holes and Cosmic Collisions.

Under the theater’s massive dome, students won’t just read or hear about the stars, planets and constellations — but will actually be among these celestial objects. EP’s CyberDome Educator will engage students in discussions about near earth objects, asteroid impact probability, geological time, gravity, laws of motion, and relativity.
