Global warming is a hot topic today, and generates a heated discussion with many people. With this traveling exhibition, you will see dramatic, panoramic photos of glaciers in Alaska and Switzerland. Compare one set of photos taken in the early and mid-1900s by legendary mountaineer Bradford Washburn, to a newer set taken by writer/photographer David Arnold between 2005 and 2007. Do you see any differences? If so, what are they?
What you'll find will bring new light to the global warming discussion – after seeing these photographs, decide for yourself if you see undeniable proof that global warming exists.
DOUBLEXPOSURE also includes recommendations on how to make our society more “green,” with the hope that these efforts will ease global warming.
This exhibition was produced in partnership with the Boston Museum of Science.
